Take Me Out is a dating show designed to put the powers of female intuition to the ultimate test.
30 girls, 1 man. Each girl stands behind a podium with a light on. The lucky man is lowered to the stage. If the girls don't like what they see, she presses her buzzer and it's lights out!
The point of the game show is to win yourself a date with the 'perfect man'. It is all about first impressions and if you can really judge a book by it's cover.
There are 3 rounds.
1. First impressions (merely based on what you see)
2. Home life, family, hobbies and interests are revealed
3. They have a chance to show off a talent

We were lucky enough to get guaranteed seats for the audience of the recording of this TV show. We had tried to get into this show a week previous but due to high demand and us running very late (not entirely but majorly my fault) we got turned away :(
I'm so glad we tried again though because it was sooooo funny and we are deffo gonna be on TV. We had perfect seats and Paddy McGuiness recorded a whole chunk right in front of us.
They had a comedian that came on during takes too and he seriously had everyone laughing the whole time... I was still laughing at him hours later!
We had planned to take lots of photo's but Jenna's camera got confiscated.. although she still managed to take a few sneaky pics with her iPhone.
So courtesy of Jenna's phone:
This is Ryan in front of the girl's podiums and the big TV screen
This is the 'lift' that the men come down in to reveal themselves to the 30 gawking girls.
Also - I just have to share one of the men's 'talents'. So bear in mind the point of this show is to win a date with a woman (if your the man). We had this really really shy, bashful, sweet guy come on as one of the contestants. The girls were loving him and not one girl had turned their light off.
His 'talent' featured him.... dressed as a woman... singing in a woman's voice?!?!
I don't think I even need to tell you want happened after that. But I will. It was a black out. Every single girl switched their light off. I'm not sure what planet that man was on that made him think that would win him a date?!
Oh and he was the most dramatic, confident and attitude-stricken woman. We couldn't believe how much he changed by just putting on a wig and a bit of make-up. So strange!
The show air's in January through April. So keep an eye out for us!!!
